EQUILIBRIUM

We believe in the equilibrium of resources and live by the fact that just because it’s natural, it doesn’t mean it is safe and just because it’s human-made, doesn’t mean it’s harmful. Being science lovers and nature oriented, we created innovative formulas that combine active natural, organic and botanical ingredients with the best synthetics and human-created active ingredients & peptides, to give you the best of both worlds. We designed & created products that mean equilibrium.

ANDROGYNOUS SKINCARE

Physical and mental health are, ultimately, the happiness formula. By becoming the first Androgynous skincare brand, we hope to inspire to bring awareness to genders division and inequality. Through promoting an inclusive world from the beginning, where tolerance, acceptance lead to a more balanced society we believe that along the years we've hope skincare can bring people together where gender differences and diversity are celebrated and not a means for division. After all, a more balanced society should be the aim/goal of all human actions, at all times.

GRAPE-SEED OIL

All our products contain Grapeseed oil (or extract in the case of our facial toner) which is not only one of the best seed oils for skincare with incredible properties but also incredibly sustainable. Grapeseed is a remarkable winery industry by-product due to the bioactivity of its constituents but specially because its origin promotes a circular economy that involves the creation of a closed-loop ecosystem for effective consumption and utilization of resources by the adoption of reduce, reuse, and recycle paradigms.

BEAUTY IS CULTURAL, SKINCARE IS HUMANIST

Our founder has a motto "beauty is a cultural concept, skincare is humanist" and we believe that beauty is diversity and diversity is beauty. All photos that feature models will not be altered to portray an certain ideal of "beauty". We believe in transparency, henceforth all featured models use our products as part of their skincare regimen. It wouldn't make any sense otherwise.

DESIGN

Design is the process, not only about the aesthetics. For the primary packaging we chose Violet Mirron Glass with unique characteristics that filter out damaging rays of the visible light spectrum and allow portions of the UVA and infrared light waves in, keeping the products inside fresher for a longer period of time. For our signature packaging, we decided to choose the raw material polypropylene and it was designed by Diana, our founder, to protect the product during its shipping process to you. The beauty of it and the main message lies on the fact that no one has the will to throw it out right away, before thinking about how it can be reused. Just like it was designed to be, to make the user think about conscious actions, and ultimately, the goal of any designer.

SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability isn't about starting a war with Plastics or any other material. The materials are human made and it's important to acknowledge our responsibilities as creators, consumers, users. While being 100% recyclable, all products are 100% reusable. Reuse the jars to store spices and other fresh herbs (teas); reuse the bottles for dishwashing detergent or homemade sprays; our signature packaging can be reused as a vase to plant herbs and succulents, can be 100% recyclable since it doesn't use any glues. It is extremely important that in a world of disposables, we extend the life of our most mundane objects by reusing them.

CRUELTY FREE AND VEGAN - PETA APPROVED

We were the first PETA approved skincare brand in Portugal as cruelty free and vegan. However, we don't aim for this seal and approval to define us as a brand. We do aim to bring awareness to end animal cruelty procedures in the beauty industry in certain countries and world zones and promote and inspire new alternatives to animal testing. Animal testing on finished cosmetic products is banned in EU since 2004.
